Geely EX5 UK: Full Specs, Prices & EV Features Revealed

Geely has officially arrived in the UK, with the brand’s first model—the all-electric EX5—now confirmed. It’s the first time the Chinese automaker has brought one of its own cars to UK roads, and we finally have the full specs. Prices kick off at £31,990.

Power comes from a single front-mounted electric motor producing 215bhp, paired with a 60.2kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Range is claimed at 267 miles on the entry-level version, dropping slightly to 255 miles on the top trim. Fast charging will take the battery from 30–80% in around 20 minutes.

In terms of size, the EX5 is a direct rival to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Skoda Enyaq, measuring 4.61m long, 1.90m wide, and 1.67m tall.

Trims are simple: SE, Pro, and Max.

  • SE (£31,990): 18-inch alloys as standard.
  • Pro (£33,990): upgrades to 19-inch alloys, plus interior colour options.
  • Max (£36,990): adds a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, and a powered bootlid.

Exterior colours include Obsidian Black, Frost Grey, Moonlight Silver, Jade Green, and White.

Inside, you get heated and electrically adjustable seats, plus a heated steering wheel. A 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring are all included. The flush door handles pop out automatically—very Tesla-like. Up front, there are adaptive LED headlights with a reach of up to 177 metres.

Deliveries are set to begin in the UK from late October. Geely has also confirmed that fleet buyers will be a major focus, which makes sense given the current demand for EVs in the leasing and company car market.

This is just the start, Geely has plans to bring more models to the UK from 2026 onwards. While the brand already sells cars under other names in international markets, the EX5 is the first to officially carry the Geely badge here.
